The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce has recently had the pleasure of welcoming our new office coordinator, Louisa Murray.
As our new Office Coordinator, Louisa is pivotal to the smooth running of the Chamber. Louisa will coordinate daily administrative support to the Chamber members. She will be your first point of contact for enquiries, responsible for managing Chamber accounts, and providing office support to the Chamber team.
Louisa was born in Dunedin and raised in Christchurch. After spending many years abroad, Louisa moved back to New Zealand in 2020 and quickly fell in love with Marlborough. From its sunshine and natural beauty to its wine, food, and fabulous people, Marlborough has truly captured her heart.
Louisa comes from a whanau of entrepreneurs, business owners, and all around community-driven individuals, so it’s only natural that she’s followed in their footsteps. With a rich history of previous employment in bar and restaurant management, non-profit social services, and education, Louisa brings plenty of valuable skills and experience to her new role at the chamber. She is excited to be working in a new space with a wide and interesting community.
Working with people from all walks of life in many different roles and countries has made Louisa appreciate coming home to Aotearoa and the unique opportunities our beautiful country provides. Louisa looks forward to providing the best support and assistance to her colleagues and chamber members. “The Chamber embodies the values I was raised with and strive to demonstrate my work”
We’re so excited to see what Louisa brings to the Chamber, and look forward to tapping in to her vast range of experience to help the Chamber provide the best possible service to our Members and Marlborough community.
