Inland Revenue’s business transformation is well under-way. They’re changing to make it simpler for New Zealanders to pay their taxes and receive their entitlements. In April all employer associated tax types will be combined into a single Payroll account in myIR, providing a single view of all employment activities. More payment options are being introduced and it will become simpler to onboard a new employee.
Inland Revenue is also making changes to KiwiSaver and Student Loans. These changes may affect you as an employer and affect your employees.
