Minimum wage rates, payday reporting timeframes, parental and domestic leave, the Food Act, Hazardous substance regulations and new reporting requirements for lawyers, accountants and real estate agents – these are some of law changes that business owners and directors should be aware of.
Two of the region’s leading legal and HR professionals – Barrister Peter Radich ONZM and Intepeople Managing Director Paul Bell - will explain the law changes affecting business and governance and answer questions from the audience at this lunchtime panel discussion MC’ed by experienced local director and Cuddon chief executive Andy Rowe.

Paul Bell is Managing Director of Intepeople and has held director, general management and senior management positions in the telecommunications, health, banking and financial services, energy and government sectors in New Zealand.
As one of the most experienced Human Resources practitioners in New Zealand, Paul brings a strong employment law background, people management and commercial experience to the Intepeople consultancy team. He has been at the forefront of introducing leading edge organization change programmes into the corporate world and specialises in working with senior management and boards of directors in the areas of executive/management coaching, business strategy, HR strategy, organization design, restructuring and business performance improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and culture change.
Andy has successfully led Cuddon Limited, Marlborough’s largest and most diverse engineering business for the past twelve years, coming from a 30 year back ground in Aviation Engineering through the RNZAF and Safe Air Ltd with particular focus on Non Destructive Testing and Project Management across both military and civilian aircraft sectors in NZ and international markets. Andy has current governance roles with the Board of Hockey New Zealand since 2011 with responsibilities in Major Events (Chair), Strategic Delivery Review (Chair) and AFR, and Marlborough Youth Trust. He has recently completed 11 years with NMIT Council as the Deputy Chair and Chair of Audit.
