With NMIT launching the Bachelor of Viticulture and Winemaking degree this year, we have invested in the development of new facilities. Welcome to our new sensory room.
Our dedicated wine sensory laboratory is designed to enable students or researchers to evaluate wine. This means it has optimal white light, neutral air with the absence of foreign aromas and is in a quiet dedicated location. As well as providing optimal tasting conditions for students to master the skills of wine evaluation, this room will be effective for research, trials and will be available to hire for promotional purposes or consumer preference testing.
