5th June 2014
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The Edwin Fox
Come along to the second of our BNZ Partners’ Women in Business and join us at the Edwin Fox in Picton.
5.30pm – 7.00pm
Karen originally majored in Ancient History – however she diverted her career into marketing and tourism. This brought her to many different positions over the years including working the big Twickenham rugby events in London, a top hotel in St Mawes Cornwall and working on sailing boats in Greece and the British Virgin Islands in the Caribean in later years I helped managed my mothers old coaching Inns in Cornwall, The Victory (after Lord Nelson’s ship) and the Roseland Inn, Philleigh.
The Edwin Fox is older than the Cutty Sark in London, the tea clipper and has probably had a more interesting life and actually the fact it is not restored is now a point of difference that the tourists seem to be enjoying along with the un-presidented access people have to the ship (they can pretty much get all over her).
Join us on 5 June to hear more about this fantastic ship.
