After leaving Nelson at the end of my school years, I went to Otago University and completed a Bachelor of Surveying Degree. From there I worked in Tauranga till 1995 before, moving to Australia for 12 years.
I returned to NZ, and settled in Blenheim in 1997, and joined Aurecon (then Connell Wagner) in 1998. I am currently the Office Manager for the Blenheim Aurecon office (an international engineering consultancy). I am also a Board member on the Cadastral Surveyors Board of NZ.
My husband and I have a 15 year old son at MBC, and we live on a small lifestyle block in the Taylor Pass. We are as a family interested in sports, boating in the Sounds, and I am currently the President of the Marlborough Softball Association.
I would like to think that after working for 20 years in the Marlborough District, I can contribute for the benefit of the region, by joining the Board of Chamber and bringing my knowledge and enthusiasm to the table.
