Having worked for Gascoigne Wicks since 2006, Kay is now very settled into the Blenheim way of life. With family in nearby Nelson, weekends are generally divided between the provinces.
Kay worked as a Practice Manager for firms in both Nelson and Ashburton from 1989 – 1999. After 6 years working for Local Government on the Gold Coast, family ties and a desire to return to legal practice management drew her back. The variety of work the role offers, from administration, to budgets, HR to IT and involvement in all facets of the practice is both exciting and challenging and makes the job continually interesting.
Kay has been a Trustee of the Hospice Foundation Trust in Marlborough for several years; having been a grateful recipient of the excellent services cancer-related organisations provide she feels privileged to be able to give something back.
A place on the Chamber of Commerce Board will provide the opportunity for further community involvement. Interests include a passion for cooking, tasting our local wines and gardening.
